Singer-songwriter Edie Yvonne shares her single “Girl Code“, which is available on all digital stores.

BEHIND THE SCENES, LET’S KNOW MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST: Edie Yvonne released her single GIRL CODE on her 15th birthday 11/22. She started releasing music as a 13 year old singer and songwriter based in LA. Her new single Queen Bee, inspired by mean girls and their minions, dropped 9/22! Edie’s summer single On Your Mind begins ” across from me but worlds away can’t seem to get your heart to stay. What is on your mind?” About the song Edie shares, “This song is based on miscommunications with someone I care about. Wondering how to connect, asking why there was such emotional distance at that time. — asking how to love someone while not be able to relate on some level.” Her song Stain is the most personal to date. Based on an experience of going out in public for the first time after quarantine, she was quickly reminded of some people’s intolerance to difference, particularly regarding her birthmark. Stain begins, “When You Stare, Do You Know I’m Aware, Do You Think I Don’t Care?” In her most popular single In the Rain, Edie shares, “Please let me go. I love you. Wish I could trust you.” After an argument with a loved one, I was trying to process the words, my responses, the fears projected onto me, the resentments and trying to sit with those feeling when it’s someone you truly care about. I was trying to understand the emotions and hoping the song could provide some healing down the road.”
