indie-folk artist Eleri Ward, shares her latest single “Moss“, which is available on all digital platforms.

BEHIND THE SCENES, LET’S KNOW MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST: Eleri Ward is an NYC-based singer-songwriter whose music is rooted in storytelling, and inspired by many different genres and sounds that ignite the layered textures of her own music. From her critically acclaimed Acoustic Sondheim covers where, according to The New York Times, “Ward plumbs this deep well in a way that feels so intuitively right, it’s remarkable no one has done it before” to her skill as an original songwriter where her “ability to draw her audience into a dreamscape of emotions” was described as “unparalleled” by Earmilk, building worlds around telling each individual story through song is always at the heart of what Eleri does as an artist.

Eleri Ward’s latest single, Moss, is a musical meditation on returning to yourself. With lush vocals, layers of guitar, and reversed harmonics, this track floats over a drone that anchors the melody and lyrical meaning as a grounding exhale, gently nudging you to reconnect with your center with a bridge opens up as a realization that things don’t have to be so hard if you just release into your present self and perhaps hold some space to sit on the floor of a warm, dark forest. Eleri’s vocals, yodeling and smoothly cracking over a single note, act as an echo through the trees, beckoning you to lower your shoulders and “take a pause”.

Don’t miss it!
