Talented duo Mery’s Key, shared their debut original single “Step By Step“, which is available on all digital stores.

BEHIND THE SCENES, LET’S KNOW MORE ABOUT THE ARTISTS: Mery’s Key are an unusual, niche duo of bass guitar and voice masquerading as pop music, fusing song writing similar to John Mayer/Jonatha Brooke and soloistic electric-bass playing akin to that of Victor Wooten/Seth Horan.

“Step By Step” captures the universal struggle of wanting so much more, so much quicker, yet acknowledges that achieving our desires takes time. The lyrics explore the emotional journey of dealing with impatience and self-doubt, but the anthemic chorus serves as a poignant reminder to the listener that the process must be trusted, infusing the track with both emotional depth and infectious energy. The song has been a crowd favourite at every performance, such as at Enrico Mentana’s (famed Italian journalist) lifetime career award presentation in Palmanova, Italy and at Trieste Loves Jazz festival, a festival graced by performers such as Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles and The Yellowjackets.
