Singer-songwriter ALEJ, shares his latest single “Electric Heaven“, available now via all the major platforms.

BEHIND THE SCENES, LET’S KNOW MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST: ALEJ, the stage name of Alejandro, is an American singer songwriter and artist. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, his passion for music and performing was strong from a very young age; this passion was born when his family noticed that he loved to record the covers of songs with the webcam of his PC. Thanks to his sister, who taught him how to use GarageBand, he began to compose his first original songs and then share them on SoundCloud. ALEJ debuted on music streaming platforms in November 2020 with the single ‘Too Famous for Me’, a song that set the tone for his music career. The song got thousands of streams and was published on radio and blogs in the US and Europe. Then, it was followed by ‘Phantom’ and ‘Aries Season’, all three extracts from the eponymous EP, which confirmed ALEJ’s talent and determination. ALEJ then started 2022 by releasing āInfectiousā, the first single off his newest album āLuxe.ā. The entire album was recorded in his home studio in his apartment while his producer, Andrei Sora, worked from his studio in London. This choice rewarded ALEJ, as he had total freedom and control over every aspect of the each song.

Speaking about his latest single “Electric Heaven“, ALEJ says: “Electric Heaven” was inspired by a time last summer where I went out to a bar with my friend for a Barbie themed party. At the time, I was severely depressed because I was going through a really difficult breakup. It was the first time I went out in a while so I just wanted to forget my pain and try to have fun for the night. So I decided to have about 4 or 5 drinks and I ended up getting wasted that night. I ended up waking up hung over the next day, but for me it was worth it. This song is basically about trying to escape your heartbreak through things such as alcohol and partying for just one night”.
