Pop artist Tetza, shares her single “kick rocks“, which is available on all digital stores.

BEHIND THE SCENES, LET’S KNOW MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST: Originally from Los Angeles and now Brooklyn-based, Tetza impresses with clever and empowering lyricism, smooth walls of self-arranged background vocals, and a soothing yet surprisingly powerful voice. Entering the industry as a professional freelance songwriter and session vocalist, Tetza is now fully pursuing and focusing on her own solo pop music – with strong RnB influence sprinkled with Y2K nostalgia. Upon the release of her debut EP: Summer Reading, Tetza has recently performed at venues such as DROM and THE MEADOWS, and has received praise in multiple online publications for both her music and accompanying visuals – elevating self-produced bedroom pop to the next level.

Following her 2022 debut EP: Summer Reading, Tetza is back with pop banger, “kick rocks”, which can best be described as the perfect response to an unsolicited and undesired ex-partner showing back up in your life. The song is a dreamy but danceable celebration of self-love post heartbreak. It’s as empowering as it is unserious, with dichotomy being something Tetza does best.

Tetza’s self-arranged vocals shimmer through the track with impactful lyrics that inspire strength in independence. It’s a song made for a summer drive to the beach while screaming the hook “eat dirt, kick rocks!” at the top of one’s lungs. Tetza wanted to prove here that although coming up as an independent artist, she is more than capable of creating Top 40 pop. Her voice and vocal arrangements are often compared to Ariana Grande, however her deepest influences also include but are not limited to SZA, Beyoncé, Kehlani, Doja Cat, Raye, and Victoria Monét. Entirely self-made, the music video is vibrant and fun embracing the celebration of moving on through pain. Tetza’s performance abilities shine here once again exemplifying her potential for a much larger audience.
