Indie rock band My Satellite, shared their single “Denial“, which is available on all digital stores.

BEHIND THE SCENES, LET’S KNOW MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST: From the vibrant streets of Los Angeles comes My Satellite, a musical powerhouse fusing ethereal psychedelia with indie rock’s raw authenticity. Formed in 2009 by Bryan Stage, the band’s journey evolved from a spark to a constellation of sonic experiences. In 2010, Stage’s solo release “Telescopes” hinted at the melodies to come. The EP “Depths” in 2011 marked a turning point, cementing My Satellite in the indie scene. With Andy Marshall, Sammi Doll, Justin Paul, and Ryan Ward on board, the band’s synergy led to the single “Mirrors” resonating on the famous KROQ radio. Their 2014 album “Lift” combined celestial melodies and pop sensibilities, capturing listeners’ attention. After member changes, Stage and Marshall’s introspective journey birthed “Person,” a psychedelic concept album, at Drooping Rug Studios. The result is a harmonious symphony of emotions, inviting listeners to explore its layers and emerge transformed. Unwavering in their commitment, My Satellite pushes sonic boundaries, inviting all to join their journey. As they create resonant music, My Satellite remains a star in the indie rock constellation, leaving an indelible mark on the musical landscape of Los Angeles.

Speaking about the track, they said: “This song is about that morning after a couple’s first big fight. The first time when hurtful things are said. There is yelling. There are tears. The song comes in after all that. It’s that awkward time when things are still raw, not fully resolved, but one partner presses the other to put it behind them and enjoy the day and the subsequent night happily together. It’s a song that doesn’t wish to deal with the reality that this row is the first big crack in the relationship. It’s the first sign of the eventual demise of the relationship, but, still blinded by infatuation, neither partner sees it for what it is.“
