Eleven presents: Wotts – Laundry

Indie pop duo Wotts, shared their latest single “Laundry“, which is available on all digital stores.

Wotts

Produced by Jayem (Wotts vocalist & multi-instrumentalist), “Laundry” sees the group embracing a sound that’s been bubbling in their hearts since day one. As he explains, “Bands like The Smiths and Fontaines D.C. have impacted us a lot. I think there’s elements in this song that make it ‘us’, but we felt the time was right to give some love to a genre that brings us so much happiness”. “Laundry” follows the release of the band’s standalone single “there”, a mellow piano ballad that proudly wears its Lennon and McCartney influence on its sleeve. Adding it all up, it’s fair to say that the band has a love affair for UK music. Says bassist and guitarist Ricky 100, “There’s so much music from over there that’s impacted us over the years. It was only a matter of time before that influence made its way into our tracks”.

Laundry” is just the start of what’s expected to be a busy summer for the duo. Says Jayem, “We got the EP coming out this summer, and we’ll be starting to dip our toes into the world of music videos. On top of all that, we’re starting to record our first full-length record. So here’s hoping people aren’t growing tired of us because we got lots more on the way and we’ve never been more excited”.

Don’t miss it!
