Indie band Caring Less shared their single “Slow Down“, which is available on all digital platforms.

BEHIND THE SCENES, LET’S KNOW MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST: Caring Less is an up-and-coming indie band from Philadelphia. Compared to the likes of Jeff Buckley, Alanis Morrisette, and PJ Harvey, Caring Less continues to develop a soulful 90s rock and roll sound on their new EP, which will drop May of 2025. They’ve played Philamoca, Johnny Brendas, Kung Fu Necktie, Ortliebs and other local venues, as well as live for their WXPN key studio session. This performance was then featured on the radio station’s record store day vinyl release, “Homegrown Originals” alongside the likes of Speedy Ortiz, Slaughter Beach, Dog, Greg Mendez and Gladie. Caring Less has been working hard and driving towards becoming a staple in the local scene, and on top of that, they’re now pushing towards spending more time out on the road.

“Slow Down” is a moody, slow-burning rocker that captures the tension of love unraveling. Drawing comparison to Jeff Buckley and PJ Harvey, Sara Johnson’s brooding verses build to a soaring chorus before hypnotic repetitions of “whatever you want” push the song to a climax. Recorded at Headroom Studios by Danny Murillo and Kyle Pulley and mastered by 2x Grammy-nominee Ryan Schwabe, don’t miss it!
