Eleven presents: Francis Eden

Talented artist Francis Eden shares her debut single “Fool’s Gold”, which is available on all digital stores.

BEHIND THE SCENES, LET’S KNOW MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST: Francis Eden has already made a splash on the local music. Having grown up surrounded by music of the 60’s and 70’s folk era, her approach to a stripped back and lyrically focused style has pegged her the leading acts out of Sydney. Becoming an artist in her own right has been years in the making. After writing with local bands in high school, she focused on singing to better convey songwriting ideas for her friends to perform. Discovering that writing songs in her own voice allowed her to have a stronger, unafraid and honest connection with her audience whilst confronting the complexities of relationships. Taking the D.I.Y model in her stride, Francis studied music production, helping to hone her craft as a musician and a producer. Her debut single ‘Fool’s Gold’ has been recognized as a standout track from an independent artist, having been selected as a semi-finalist in the Unsigned Only Music Competition 2022. The song has also garnered praise from the likes of Plastic Mag, Record the Resonance and YMX and has been played on 2RRR, Big Indie Giant and European Indie Music Network.
